Methinks the Democrats have enough drama in Denver with Hill, Bill and Barry. This woman is clearly a very, very good Democrat, but her death should interfere with her plan to be a superdelegate, don't you think?

Officials from Barack Obama's campaign immediately issued a statement saying that while they are willing to let Hillary Clinton's delegates be counted, they are not supportive of allowing dead delegates to vote.
She's NOT dead!
She is dead, unfortunately. It looks like bad AP editing... They send out those updates to the lead paragraphs but sometimes forget to change things deeper in the article. Back in the last century, I used to have to retrieve AP articles for my work and you'd see these alerts that said "replace first 3 grafs with..." as they continued to update the reporting.
At the time I posted, her death had been reported prematurely. And Steve, I realize the snark was probably meant towards the article, but in the last paragraph you really seem disrespectful towards the tragic passing of a woman of great accomplishment and courage. I rarely comment on these things, but that last paragraph really seems so disrespectful and not the real point of the event. Especially the really unfortunate final question. That whole article really made me unhappy and disappointed, and I have come to expect better of you. Just one
regular readers opinion, but you really are better than that.
Hi Thomas: You're probably right. I was just bemused by the mixed-up reporting going on here. I didn't really mean to mock death.
I didn't think you did, and thanks for the response. Love your book by the way - thomas
