Aria Wrap Disgrace Update: Elvis Is In The Building?

Solve the puzzle? Elvis is in the building. (Wish he weren&#0... on Twitpic

Panoramy just Tweeted this image, showing the second stripe of added to the Aria wrap. She's betting it'll say: "Elvis Is In The Building." And, she snarks, "(Wish he weren't ON the building.)"

Indeed. Sad. And, as Michael, a commenter on the prior Aria-related post, noted, they're doing THIS because they thought a proper marquee on the Strip was tacky and unsightly. Oh, the tangled intellectual webs they weave by staking out high ground without actually earning it.

I have been thinking of what company or product service would be good on the front of the Bellagio. This is it:

Steve - this could be a contest - what ad should be placed on the Bellagio.

These hotel wraps are getting out of hand. They cheapen views that you pay good money for at some hotels. I hope this is just a fad that goes away! Hotels, find another way to make money. It makes your hotel look like crap!

SG - what's funny is that if you put this question to MGM brass, I suspect they'd instinctively recoil at the idea of wrapping Bellagio. But it's not that ridiculous now that they're doing it to Aria...

Steve: I wasn't aware you were getting out of condos.Sorry for attacking you back there, but the whole thing smelled a little NIMBY without facts.. If anybody else at the Pano commanded the kind of audience you do and complained about it, I would have suspected the same thing.
