The Strip & Petcast Are Live on Sat

It's that time of week again!

We're doing two new episodes of The Petcast from Noon to 1 p.m. PT and then an hour of The Strip from 1-2 p.m. PT.

For The Petcast, guest host Amy and I will chat in the first half-hour with Mary O'Connor-Shaver of the Coalition to Ban Ohio Dog Auctions. Then we'll hear from Barbara Schmitz, who spearheaded the successful movement to pass Prop B in Missouri, which radically alters the laws regarding dog breeding in that state.

Then, on The Strip, our guests are Jabbawockeez founder Phil Tayag and Mystere clown Brian Dewhurst.

As always, you can listen live at via LVRocks.Com and join the chat with fellow listeners. Or wait and grab the podcast version via iTunes or Zune or listen via that nifty "Listen Now" player on TheStripPodcast.Com or ThePetcast.Com. Your call.

Here is an October radio debate by Missouri Prop B Barbara Schmitz! This is a must listen!

Make sure you ask Barbara Schmitz to repeat her lies about a local vet here in Missouri about how him and his wife have a puppy mill kennel! What a laugh..he is not married and does not own a kennel but yet she insisted he did! Also, Prop B might have passed in Missouri but a very narrow margin, however, as we speak, "type" it is being cut to shred by the house and legislation. I can guarantee you HSUS you DID NOT WIN in Missouri! Get your skanky butts out and stay out of our state. You are not wanted here!

Thank you, Barbara Schmitz, for raising awareness about the horrors of Puppy Mills!

We almost purchased a dog through online. Thankfully, we decided to do some research and ended adopting a dog from a shelter. Please adopt from your local shelter. Please do not support the puppy mills.

Who would listen to Barbara Schmitz? She speaks with forked tongue and doesn't get her facts straight before embarrassing herself with outright lies. Then she goes on to say: 'regardless,' dismissing her attempted slander and trying to pretend she didn't just say it. If her mouth is open, she is probably telling a whopper!

Wish I could be there to listen to Barbara Schmitz. She helps to educate the public about puppy mills.

Puppy mills is indeed a very profitable business and Missouri is the capital of puppy mills. The Humane Society of the United States helped to pass Prop B, to toughen regulations in large scale dog breeding in Missouri, recently.

Thank you for helping the voiceless. Keep up the great work!
