Who with, you ask? Oh. Terry Lanni, the MGM Mirage CEO. Sadly, this conversation occurred before the announcement of the company's layoffs yesterday, but he nonetheless had some comments about the recession, about the young moguls of Vegas and about why naming that CityCenter hotel is such a painus in the anus.

Urgent? Sorry it's hard to get too excited about Terry Lanni. Is he going to talk about what he's buying with his latest bonus, seems bad taste given the 400 managers he just canned.
No, it's urgent because many of our listeners show up for the live show at 7 most weeks and they needed to know. Sorry to alarm.
Two miles to Red Rock? I wish!
Don't give it away, McKee!!!
I'm not gonna go through all the stuff a I see but a couple push my buttons...
"Wynn Resort"??!?! I can't stand it when people get names wrong. It's 'Wynn Las Vegas', not 'The Wynn', 'Wynn', 'The Wynn LV', etc... Wynn Las Vegas. Would you say 'The Paris'? Yes, you would? You're wrong.
Also, I feel bad for the 1/3rd of Monte Carlo guests whose rooms were lopped off when it went from a Y design to a more V shaped building.

Are those grain silos atop Caesars Palace or is that the nuclear reactor that the new ownership -- long enamored of purchasing utilities -- plans to build?
