My apologies for laying off the blogging since I returned to Vegas from the funeral. It's been all I could do to simply focus on getting some work done and make up financially for last week. It is the curse of the self-employed that we must worry about money during a dramatic family emergency. I'll be posting a lot this weekend to make up for it, I suspect.
ANYHOW... let's get this party restarted with a little quiz for you. Take a good look at this mural above. It's recently been painted over the toilet at ReJavaNate, the brilliant independent cafe where I do most of my writing.

A looks to be New York, New York's skyline and B, I think, is Bellagio, with that stylized version of the tower-y thing at the center of the hotel. The other two ... don't know ... -sm
see, I thought maybe the bellagio one was the palms -- you know, that sort of swoopy thing they have. i mean, maybe he drawing's perspective is off? And DONT KNOW C might be the future Vdara? Altho that would be to the left of the bellagio...
i'd like to know if the painter thinks an earthquake is going to suck the strip into the toilet?!?

Yeah, I think A is NYNY, B is Bellagio (the dome-ish thing on top?), and C is the Caesar's tower that is perpendicular to the rest of the Strip. Dunno about D...
